The snowy streets and surrounding mountains in Bozeman, MT make the town an idyllic backdrop for all things winter. This year, the charming mountain town will be hosting a variety of festive events full of holiday cheer.

Ladies Night in Downtown Bozeman: November 16 at 5 pm – 8 pm  

Thousands of women head downtown for an evening of friends, shopping, and dining, and to enjoy some girl time before the busy pace of holiday entertaining begins.

 

Opening Day at Big Sky

Big Sky is planning for its longest season in history, with an opening date of November 22, 2023. As stated in a press release: “Our shift to an earlier opening gives our guests and team members more time to celebrate opening day and Thanksgiving with family and friends, and more skiing to look forward to in November.”

 

Small Business Saturday – All day, November 25th

Support small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, shop small at downtown stores and help support the local economy.

 

Tour the Holiday Lights

Check out the twinkling lights adorning Willson Avenue, Montana Hall at Montana State University, South 3rd Avenue past Kagy Boulevard, and the neighborhoods around Ferguson and Fowler Avenues.

Christmas Stroll 2023: December 2: 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Downtown Bozeman

Bundle up and take part in Bozeman’s most cherished holiday tradition- the Christmas Stroll. Starting at 4:30 pm, Santa Claus will work his way down Main Street, singing Christmas carols and lighting the downtown holiday lights with festive friends in tow. Bring the whole family down to enjoy merry activities and traditional holiday treats until 7:30 PM.

Stroll Downtown Bozeman, take in some art and culture, and finish some holiday shopping. Many shops will feature local artists and often provide hors d’oeuvres and complimentary refreshments at the festive event. 

New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Ring in the New Year at one of Bozeman’s restaurants and bars. Enjoy a fun filled evening with live music, delicious specials, and tasty cocktails.
