Gallery services include cleaning, repair and preservation, and appraisal. “It’s very important to take excellent care of a premium rug,” explains Azari. “We recommend that rugs be placed away from direct sun. Owners should turn the rug over to vacuum accumulations of dust and debris from the base of the piece, and have their rugs professionally washed every two to four years.” Azari also suggests turning the rug occasionally to ensure the entire thing gets equal wear and exposure.
